Dr. Meyyazhagan (Dr. Meyy as she is affectionately known) is the Medical Director at Wesleyan Senior Living. She will lead the Collaborative Care team of medical and geriatric professionals.
Staff members at Collaborative Care will work with the senior, family members, the senior’s physicians, and other care providers to provide a comprehensive medical, psychological, social and environmental assessment.
Our goal at Collaborative Care is to provide an independent life plan that allows a senior to live a safe, healthy, full life.
Dr. Meyy is a fellowship trained Geriatrician, who graduated from Madurai Medical College in India. She completed her internal medicine residency at Fairview Hospital and a Geriatric Fellowship at Cleveland Clinic Foundation.
Before joining Wesleyan Village, Dr. Meyy was an Assistant Professor and Clinical Faculty Member at Case Western Reserve University’s Department of Internal Medicine and Division of Geriatrics. Dr. Meyy was also the Medical Director for Elderhealth Center at Fairhill, University Hospitals Case Medical Center.
